Symphony Math assessments are given three times per school year: fall, winter, and spring. The first assessment serves as an Autoplacement into the Symphony Math curriculum, while the second and third assessments help show student growth throughout the course of the school year.
To change the starting dates for any of the three assessment windows, use the Schools area in your Administration Panel.
- Press 'Schools' from the left navigation area.
- Press your school name (or district name if you are a district administrator).
- You will see the Settings panel below. Press 'Assessment' to change assessment settings.
- Press 'Save Changes when you are done.
NOTES:
- Students only take 1 assessment during each testing window.
- Students cannot take an assessment within 30 days of the previous one. So, a student who takes an assessment at the end of the previous testing window will not take their next assessment until at least 30 days have passed, even if the next window has started.
