The Symphony Math assessment is given three times per year. Fall, Spring, and Winter testing windows are defined by district or school Settings. If desired, assessments can be made inactive. For example, if a school has yet to begin the new school year, but the program is still available for student use, assessments may not be desired for students working at home.
Disabling Assessments District- or School-wide
- From your Symphony Math dashboard, press 'Schools' from the left navigation bar.
- Press the name of your school, or the district account name if applicable.
- In the Assessment section of Settings, choose 'inactive.'
- Press Save Changes.
Disabling Assessments for a Group of Students
- From your Symphony Math Dashboard, press 'Students' from the left navigation bar.
- Filter the student list by school, grade, or class if necessary.
- Check the box next to one or more student names. To select all students displayed, check the top box.
- Press the Edit icon (pencil) to edit Settings for all of the selected students.
- In the Assessments section, check the top box, and then toggle the button to make assessments inactive.
- Press Save Changes.
